Laboratory of Organometallic Catalysis

Recently, Bartłomiej (Bartek) Szarłan completed two one-month internship stays at Musashino University, Tokyo, Japan. His work under the supervision of Dr. Hiroki Shigehisa concerned annulations catalysed by cobalt hydride complexes as a part of the research ongoing in the group .

The results have already ben published in ACS Catalysis (2024, 14, 15514-15520) and now Dr. Shigehisa talks about working with Bartek in an interview (link).

This collaboration not only allowed Bartłomiej to gain valuable international experience but also laid the groundwork for potential future joint projects. Strengthening academic ties with leading research centers worldwide remains a priority for our group, and we look forward to further opportunities for collaboration with Musashino University.
